I don't have any account upgrades on my forums. I've thought about maybe adding something on one of them, but it just never happened. I can't really come up with ideas on what I can offer premium members.

If the user after upgrade experience ad free experience then price of the membership add to the perks refunds site owner from expected amount to earn from ads as all upgrades offers this.

I've always had premium groups which allow people to support the site. I've never made a high stable income through these schemes, but they're often enough to cover a domain/hosting bill for a year or so depending on the cost and numbers that signup. And I like to be able to offer a few incentives and perks to those who wish to support the site

I would subscribe to premium on most sites that have it. I think I am on premium on all the sites that is I am on. Even when some are insanely expensive.
