Hey,

Please tell us what you think about AT Forum so we can make more improvements we are hoping to launch in about 3 days before then we can make some changes to make it a successful community

This has been the longest ive kept a site under beta and more is to be added (Probably my best forum)

Also why is 'Admin'Talk labeled a 'Webmaster' forum?

Becuase All domains are already taken its not much different to AdminForums or AdminsHut etc.

And like a said im starting again but now that i have a pc im doing things the right way 🙂

For something thats has been under 'beta' it doesn't look like much.

Only thing i dislike is the theme but nothing is perfect with mybb themes.

It just looks like a default installation of MyBB with a few categories created with boring descriptions and a slight amount of topics created.

People say don't start of with to many forums so we may add on as time goes on, so how could the description be improved?

Here's a little write up I did ages ago which may be of use to you:

As for the categories, you can have as many as you want, it's your forum not other peoples, the only problem with having too many categories is having not enough topics, each category should have at least 10 topics (IMO) each before opening, this way say you have 10 categories your new members will have 100 topics to be able to respond too, therefore they don't get bored on your forum as quickly as they would if it were empty.

I assume your localhost install has a theme? The default MyBB one is fine, but not for a webmaster forum, especially since you've been hyping it as under "beta". :great:

I did connect last night on my iPad and saw some problems so I wanted to see if it was same on PC as well but meh. I'll wait until your thing is fixed.

FuvoHosting is currently offline for some reason i will try to get in contact with the hosting founder today.

As for now Im deciding which software to choose from i have a old ipb license on my pc or mybb (but the themes are not good for the niche)

In your previous topic you said, the guy who have you IPB license cheated you. So, it's not a valid license anymore.

And every forum softwares have good themes. You are not finding the right one.

FuvoHosting is now back online they just had a small technical error which has been sorted now.

And i am staying with mybb as the license is legal and it be more saver to stay with a legal sofwate.

IPB, vBulletin, phpBB, MyBB etc are all legal :roll:
