Google Adsense is a great way to get money using advertising. Some people have had great success with the programme and other not so much luck. This is how it works: If I wanted to use Adsense to make money I would first sign up for an account with Adsense. Just follow the steps; you have to be 18 or over though. When you’ve been approved by Google staff you will be given a HTML code, put this code in your website/forum/blog and check up everyday and see the stats your getting. You can see how many hits and clicks you’re getting on the ads. Some ads pay 00.1p for a click…. other can pay over 5.00!

How Much can You Really Earn

The more clicks and hits you get on your website, the more money you will make! We do not know the exact rate Google pays for each click. For example if I made £10.00 and I had 10 clicks that would men Google are giving me £1 for each click someone makes on my website. If your thinking that you can cheat with Adsense you are very wrong, clicking on your own ads automatically suspends your Adsense account and will loose all your months earnings.

Why I don’t Like Adsense

There are several reasons why I don’t like it. Firstly I think the Google ads look extremely tacky, In my first ever blog post I stated that you can loose your credibility putting ads on a website. I think Google Adsense is a perfect example for this, I think putting absence makes you look money hungry. In all honesty though, If your website is getting enough views and is in the top 1% of internet traffic why not give it a go. I read success stories about Adsense everyday!

I posted that on my blog a week or so ago, What do you think about adsense?

I've seen some sites making upwards of near $50,000 a month with Google Adsense alone.

You will only have success with Adsense if you do your research and play your cards right, as it's only as good as you make it to be.

I don't use Adsense,

I think it would be good if they paid via paypal,
I agree, especially with a lower payout, 100$ is a lot for a personal site.

I did not think it was 100$, I thought it was like 50$,

I thought about google adsense when I was creating my blog but in the end I didn't use it.

I HATE pay per click. No one clicks on those ads. I would rather pay per hit. What places do that? Do Google?

I havnt used it but I heard good stories about it. Get big enough and you could probably make a pretty penny just doing the stuff you love to do.

Well I've just stuck google ads on my website and forum. Made 15p so far in the last few hours

Want to make real money, be a YouTube star. Why? Well, once you become popular enough you can apply to become a YouTube partner. These partners are the ones with the better looking YouTube pages, as well as the video advertisements and the square ad to the side.

All of that, of course, works with your Google AdSense account. Make enough members view it, you can make as much as thousands of dollars!

My "friend" who I dislike now had a live Prank Call Show, he recorded his videos and put them online. Back in the summer, he was ending up making $2,000 a month from YouTube profits itself; and this was increasing steadily per month.

How do you go about getting ads on your YouTube account? I have around 500 subscribers and my video views equels to over 25 million.

If it is your own content, I don't see why they would reject you for ads. I go to school with a well known video maker (currently has 2.3 million views total, 2.1 million on one video) and he got accepted in a heartbeat.
If they're music videos or stuff like that you don't own, they reject all of those.

Well, the majority are music videos but I own the CD and just ripped each song to movie maker and then uploaded. They all have like 150,000 views each.
