Adsense

Well, the majority are music videos but I own the CD and just ripped each song to movie maker and then uploaded. They all have like 150,000 views each.
They count that as not yours.

What about people that have ads that upload the newest music videos, you know, the ones that get like 10 million views. How can that be counted as 'theirs'?

I got banned for no apparent reason after reaching $98. I guess it was to be expected.

You cross a tipping point in Adsense revenue, when advertisers start specifying that they want to advertise on your website, when they are setting up their Adwords campaigns. You need a strong brand and huge traffic, to get to that level.

I've seen some sites making upwards of near $50,000 a month with Google Adsense alone...
http://www.plentyoffish.com/ is a well known site for making huge money from Adsesne. Do you have examples of any others?

This is so aweful. I've made 4p today and made 16p yesterday.
You can now buy yourself a pack of gum :cheer: .
If I were you, I'd stick to just selling ad space to members and others with websites. Eliminate the middleman. It would turn a better profit, and you wouldn't have to wait until 2200 for payout.

Thanks fergal I'll give them a try.

I'll tell you what I really need though, I need to have my google adsense advert on someone elses forum...a very busy forum and pay them money for having it there for a month. I might be able to make my money back and gain profit if it's a very busy site.

Hi Fergal,

To use the Placement tool in your account , select the Networks tab and click Add placements under "Managed placements."

I don't seem to have a 'Networks' tab in my account anywhere :S

Also, I might be wrong, but surely this just copies the banner that's on the other forum? The whole reason I would like my ad over there rather than on my forum is because I'm sure he gets like 100 clicks a day whereas on mine I'm lucky to get 5.

Sorry Cloverfield I thought you might have been looking in Adsense.

When you log into your Adwords account click on the "Campaigns" tab and you will see the "networks" tab on the page that opens. You can read more at The Networks tab -- what is it? page.

Oh shoot, sorry. I was reading Adsense all the time lmao. I'll create an AdWords account now 😛

EDIT: Ok, well I set it up and made my ad but isn't AdWords where you have to pay for someone to click on your ad? I need it the other way around. I need people to click on my ads lol and I was hoping that I could put my google Ad on someones forum but when I asked him he said he wasn't comfortable with someone elses Adsense ad on their forum.

I think I understand now Cloverfield 🙂

Putting your Adsense code on someone else's site is probably not a good idea for either of you. If their site begins to abuse Adsense's terms you could get your Adsense account banned, for no fault of your own.

On the other hand they would probably want to put their own ads on their site, so that they can get the full revenue benefits. Also, if you had someone constantly click your Adsense ads on someone else's site, they might could have their site banned from the Adsense network.

I realise there was a risk but there's a risk even on my forum. Anyone could mass click the ad on my forum, it doesn't matter if it's on mine or someone elses. Oh well, I'll have to live with my 0 clicks.

Haha cloverfield, nice try on trying to get your ads on someone else's site. It probably will never work out that way, you will just need to find more ways to optimize your site to get more users and hence more clicks
