All my new Graphics!

Yet in his first post he clearly said:

"Here are all my new Graphics"

No matter what spin you place upon that, that fourth image does not belong to him. I never gave it to him, he uses it, but then he has to give some sort of payment for me. I made the avatar for this thread:

In his first post he wrote that he wished to have an avatar made for him for 250FP$, since I have not recieved this from him, the image belongs to me so he has no right to post it. Ripping. 😀

It'd only be classed as ripping if he hadn't come out already saying it's not created by him. He said they were his new graphics, because they were new graphics made for him. In effect he's done nothing wrong. There's no malicious intent within this topic as I'm pretty sure with him having requested some of the graphics right here, he's not going to be trying to pass them off as if he made them.

Admittedly, I don't really see the need of posting a 'my new graphics' thread in the 'show off stuff you made' forum when it's stuff you didn't actually make yourself, but that's a whole other story.

The difference with graphics is that who ever created it owns intangible rights to the idea, assuming they didn't use a tutorial for the major part of it. You own the graphics, but they own the concept behind it and thus claiming it to be yours is illegal in any instant.

Going by the description, the bottom line is if you didn't make it, then you can't show it off.

well i won't start on ripping again as it well make more sayings on it 😛

however on topic

1st Avatar - Good placement of text but a use of gradient in background and text wud have made it look more beautiful.

2nd Avatar - I like the Glass feel that is in the reflection due to that lower side of 'I' overlapping the shadow. (I think Rok made this avatar and he made it quite nice 🙂 )

3rd Avatar - Looks like a mixture of various techniques to me and isn't much of mi liking.

4th Avatar - Good use of Translucent border but if the border of text (stroke or glow which ever was used) would have been a bit more solid and the font was different then it wud have looks more classic.

I don't like the signatures to be honest. They look like they were made on the theme of comic books but i don't quite like the execution of concept.
