We use it here and it is easy to install (just upload the files as it uses the new CAPTCHA plugin system.

You can just put http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/i ... ch;type=19 for SMF. They have 18 MODs (not to mention a ton default), it it would be tedious and unrealistic to list all of them (though http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=999 is the best one I've seen, and isn't in the anti-spam section).

I have two anti-spambot MODs installed on my forum. GMT-12 is blocked, and I have a question on the registration page. I still get an occasional bot who slips through, though. x_x

What's the GMT -12 timezone? Isn't that an island one or something? I remember seeing something about this on another forum...

My IPB forum will have IPS' Spam Service key implemented. Based on algorithms and other reports, it will give out a rating of 0-4 based on what it believes is a spammer. I block .ru and .cn email addresses from all my forums.

That sounds handy, then you can know exactly who to ban and who not to ban. That's a good one.
