Well if you're banning a timezone, isn't it best to know where you are banning? :roll:
GMT±12 is part of Russia, as well as both islands of New Zealand.

That wasn't I who banned that time zone.

I have two anti-spambot MODs installed on my forum. GMT-12 is blocked, and I have a question on the registration page. I still get an occasional bot who slips through, though. x_x

What's the GMT -12 timezone? Isn't that an island one or something? I remember seeing something about this on another forum...

-12 is an island called Baker Island. That island is an uninhabited island so you won't be blocking anyone apart from if there are any scientists there. We have also blocked that timezone here aswell.

Also, if anyone actually lived in that time zone, it would show him/her a message. Nothing would stop that person from selecting GMT-12 once he/she had registered.

You guys are right, I was looking at a simplistic version of the timezone map, which didn't show the difference between +12 and -12. +12 is New Zealand and some of Russia.
