The problem I see with your forum is overstaffed,not to active,and nothing that makes me go hey I want to join this.

If you do wanna change from your current host. I too will suggest mybb or smf.

I guess???? I guess???? What the hell is that all about? Sounds to me as if you couldn't care less if someone has joined your forum. You need to get your act together if you want your site to improve.

and also, I took Lawson's and couple of others tips about moving from forummotion.

I'm going to work on the new forum for a month(you obviously see the "Coming Soon" in my signature.)and then reveal it.
I will be active on my forummotion forum until a month passes.

I'll be installing mods and such. 🙂

The point is if someone joins and your response is "Well welcome to the forum, I guess".... gives off the impression that you don't care whether they've joined the forum or not.

Maybe I'm the only one that thinks like that, maybe others do? Do others?

Anyway to me it just makes it sound like you couldn't care less which is not the right attitude if you want to run a successful forum.

Because a new member is a gift. You want to leave a good impression and have a friendly place so they will come back. I never go somewhere where someone is rude to me.

You know what?Maybe a community with 23 members and the feature to make it where people can't join will bring in traffic.
Maybe just have a large quanity of quaility posts, with the new member registeration is fit for me.Less spam.
No trolls.
Maybe i'll reach the top of the google search index.I'm going to consider doing this to fufill my desires.( of course that's not possible 😛)

Then eventually re-enable the new member registeration.
Just have my own private community that will gain demand and somewhat of a fanbase.
