I love it, both short and long distance. How could anyone hate it? Note I say this, even though, I cannot sleep at all on long-distance flights.

Yes, but not very often that I fly

I've only been on a few flights and I don't mind it. I rarely travel by plane though as it's just too expensive to fly. I usually just drive and go on vacations close to my city.

I one of them people who hate flying and yes I been on a plane a few times
as dad was in the Army so we moved about a lot and needed to fly
Now I been in Scotland since I was 12 I have not had to fly 😀

No shame in hating flying. You save more money that way! 😀

I love flying on planes. Been flying since I was 1 years old. Great experience for sure.

Thanks I did have a bad time on a plane when I was 4 and since then when on a plane as a child I had to be given something to make me sleep

I keep hearing airline travel isn't what it used to be... but as a child I looked forward to flying. A lot of good memories lol.

Has anyone traveled recently? How would you compare it to 10 or 15 years ago? 😀

I don't fancy the sound of it. I mean, jet lags, deep vein thrombosis, me being shit-scared of being 30kft off the ground. No thank you.

I don’t hate it, don’t love it. It’s just something you have to do to get to where you’re going. Short domestic hops are like getting on a bus these days, anyway. It’s the long haul flights which are a pain.

I hate the landing and the take-off, and all the security checking, but I'm okay with everything else.

I think air travel these days is a lot safer than driving. Where you can get into all kinds of accidents on the road in a variety of different ways. However, I hate the screening process where they check you and your bags like a thousand times before you can board.

I don't mind flying, but the flight duration is what bothers me. Short flights are fine, but things like 8 hour flights from Florida to London can become tedious, especially when I did that flight on my own multiple times. Being with someone on a flight makes it a lot better because you don't have to keep yourself entertained the entire time.

I'm surprised so many hate air travel. It's such an adventure - even at the airport!

I like air travel. I cannot travel through sea because I have travel phobia

I think air travel is the fastest way of travel. Due to this, you can reach your destination as early as possible. For this purpose, you have to select your best airline.

We are travelers and it's usually the plane when we go abroad. Last year we had 7 trips abroad. Flying is okay with me. What I didn't like in flying is the waiting time. We leave for the airport 5 hours before the flight to have an allowance for the traffic. And then the flight is delayed by an hour. That's a total of 6 hours wasted.

Nope. While it's a cool experience to fly it's also a rather unpleasent way to travel; with all the security checks, loud noise in the plane, cramped seats, and so on. I rather travel in a comfy high-speed train tbh.

Don't fly very often but do like it, can be cramped when you're over 6 foot tall thoguh
