I don't see much of them anymore; many people are into the quick posts on FB and now TikTok 🙄
I go on it for the funny vids, I have never posted on it.my husband is addicted to TikTok!

I was thinking of ways to integrate TicTok into forums, maybe add it to a VIP section or something, would bring people like myself to forums. 😱
Blogs used to be all the rage...but are they still "in"? If not, what's replaced them?
I've thought about starting a blog on numerous occasions, but I never followed through. 😛
I think so, but like most things, social media takes over - for example on reddit & other communities, there are constant trends of people clearly never visiting the blog article before replying. It's known as headline scrolling & it affects blog traffic a LOT! People respond to the content but never read the content and I feel like this is more common than people realize. Same thing happens on social apps - they'll see the headline & thumbnail, hit the reply button but never click the link!
Nowadays I look at my philosophy towards content a bit differently than I used to. Whereas before I'd rather stick to my own blog and obsess over ranks, nowadays I just share my thoughts for the sake of engaging with other users, meeting new friends, etc. I'm less focused on my content needing to live in a blog - I am much more likely to write up a LinkedIn post than a blog post these days as an example of that.
exactly, it's not even a "bad" thing in many cases, but this in my opinion is a huge contributor to why blogs don't see the traffic they used to , while still being "in" and popular at the same time.I read headlines on social media and then go read the comments because it's more entertaining 😀
