Are signature advertisements working?

I do not know if people click or read the signature side..
But I do and click almost everything in my interests like money, games and some time webmaster tools I also click coupon directory and shopping related text...

When I first opened Atrium, a lot of people told me they clicked my signature. I've never really just linked to my forum. I personally know myself, and I would be more likely to open a banner advertisement than just a link.

Cool 😀. Actually, almost those links are affiliate links of the owner and they want to promote their sites, so mostly they're useful links 🙂

Even still, any image advertising in signatures is a no-no for me. I just find it distracts from the post content. I've no problem with people using images in signatures. I just prefer to turn signatures off. That way I can focus on content.

Ads are seen everywhere, offline and online, but most of them are ignored.

Well, it's common knowledge only a percentage are clicked, but in the case of a lot of people, it's still big money.

Correct, it's about 5%-10% enough for me 🙂

I think signature advertisements work when there is less crowding. I see a lot of signatures with so much overcrowding that I think that these are not working anymore. What do you think?

I get visits and sign-ups once in a while. Therefore, I would say signature advertising is working for me
