Ask Felly!

What are some things you find difficult to remember?

Things I have to do at work, which I'll almost always remember at the most obscure times and when I'm not at work to write them down. Passwords too. Saving them is a blessing, but sometimes I think I know them, find out I actually don't, and am either too lazy to check and see if it's saved or don't actually have it saved and have to reset it. Honestly, there's probably a lot I don't remember lol.

Last game you played

Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Been a couple days since I last played it because I've been busy with work, but I am waiting for the evening where I catch an oarfish, the last of the fish I need that are available in January. I've caught more tuna and coelacanth than I have oarfish, which probably speaks to the luck I have when I'm actually trying to find the fish I need.

What's your goal for 2024?

I set a goal to read 15 books by the end of the year (currently finished one and working on the second now), and I have a goal to go skating twice a week (which I would've started this week but couldn't because of a change in work schedule and it'll be changing again in a couple weeks, so I'll have to change my skating schedule to begin with). That's all I've really got for right now. I'm honestly not really good at goal setting and also keeping up with it.

what's the colour of your new car that you have not got yet LOL

what's your greatest song you ever sing

If you were having lunch with a friend at an expensive restaurant and a young child was screaming and shouting at the table behind you to the point you couldn't hear your friend speak and the parents were doing nothing, would you say something?

What's the earliest memory you can recall in your life?

Earliest that I can think of right now is I'd gone over to the apartment of another kid who was a little younger than I was. I can't remember if he was there or not, but I remember being inside the apartment and having food and watching medical documentary style shows on TV with his mom. I'd gone over other times too (it was just across the street from the apartment my family lived in), and me and him would chill and play video games if it was too late to be outside or the weather wasn't ideal. I don't remember my exact age, but I want to say it was probably somewhere between 6 and 9 or 10, as I think they'd moved into a different apartment complex (ironically the one my family lived in when I was in kindergarten) before I'd gone into middle school and later moved out of that apartment complex.

Oak is your desk made out off

Fiberboard for the desk itself and metal for the legs.

What initially drew you to forums?

Honestly? I can't fully remember. I first joined them when I was about 10, probably asking for help on a game as it was a gaming forum and site, and ended up sticking around for the sense of community and friends I'd made.

what's your greatest song you ever sing

In public? The only one I can actually recall singing is Avril Lavigne's Sk8er Boi in 6th grade chorus as a part of a class assignment, outside of songs sung at chorus concerts or library events, and I don't remember what songs I sang during those lol. (Some were definitely Christmas songs though, I can remember that much, just not which ones.) I did sing one of Sean Kingston's songs on a bus ride home back from DC in 8th grade, during which it was discovered that I was relatively decent at rapping along with music lol. I don't remember which song specifically it was, but probably either Take You There or Beautiful Girls as I remember those being pretty popular back in January 2008 when we did the trip. In private? I used to sing along to songs quite a bit and quite poorly on my way to/from work. Not so much nowadays because I don't have as long of a drive, but I do sometimes have a nice jam session when I'm making longer drives on my own lol.

If you were having lunch with a friend at an expensive restaurant and a young child was screaming and shouting at the table behind you to the point you couldn't hear your friend speak and the parents were doing nothing, would you say something?

Probably. Kids screaming and shouting is one thing, but if it's to a point where I can't hear someone directly across from me (or possibly even right next to me) with the parents doing nothing, then I would probably request a manager speak to the family or just be moved to a quieter table where my friend and I don't have to scream at each other across the table.

Do you prefer a wired or wireless keyboard & mouse and why?

I'm okay with a wired keyboard, but I definitely prefer a wireless mouse for more freedom in where I can move it. I'm not really needing to move the keyboard around as much unless I'm rearranging my entire desk set up.

own any good old furniture

No, not really. Everything we have is all newer furniture that was purchased within the last 5ish years.

What is a niche category of YouTube videos that you enjoy watching?

What is a niche category of YouTube videos that you enjoy watching?

I'm not really sure anything I really watch on YouTube would really be considered niche. A lot of what I tend to watch is food related content because that's what I've been into lately, and I've been watching a little bit of Judge Judy clips too. I guess probably the most niche thing maybe would be that I enjoy a good lyric video on occasion, when I'm really wanting to jam out to some music.

watch DVDs still

Nope. I don't think I even own anymore DVDs.

Should any topic be prohibited from being discussed on social media and/or the internet?

I would say no, but I would also say to be respectful and know your audience because there's some topics out there that are controversial. Debate is always nice, but when it gets too heated is when things need to be dialed back or shut down.
