Back in the days of dial-up my first provider asked me for a username and I had no idea what they were talking about. It was explained to me that it was better to create something unique and to cut a rather long telephone conversation short I chose the name of a my favourite musician at the time (Frank Zappa) and added my real world initials on the end.
