If you only eat half your meal at a restaurant and ask the server to wrap the other half up (for lunch the next day) and the server "forgets" and discards your food instead, should you only pay for half the meal? (Why/Why Not)
No, because you had the whole meal, you just chose not to eat all of it. They did the work and lived up to their end, so you owe them the rightful payment.
