Don't take it badly if I trust top scientists, engineers and decades of research and development over you...Petergray said:So called top scientists say it is
Forgot to ask, petergray, do you have anything to justify your argument that "it's terrible"?ItsZippy said:Don't take it badly if I trust top scientists, engineers and decades of research and development over you...Petergray said:So called top scientists say it is

True story. In order to get into one you have to get a physical (complete with touching of junk), and you can't even bring soda in carry-on!!petergray said:How is going up in a metal tube safe? That's a very personal and subjective statement.petergray said:How is going up in a metal tube safe? Answer, it's not. So called top scientists say it is but actually it's not the safest form of travel, it's terrible
You still are required to do a driving test before being allowed to drive independently. It's not like you can cheat on a written exam or whatnot in order to get a full license. (unless it's different in USA or a country other than Australia where you don't go through licensing stages)Felicia said:Heck, you don't do years of training before you get behind the wheel and go drive on the road.

Yeah, there's the driving test, but I personally think it's a joke. Seeing how some of the people who just got their license drive is proof of that. And in America (or at least Michigan?) you have to drive 50 hours with a parent/legal guardian, 10 at night, and complete another driver's ed course before you can take the test. Overall, you can take 2 years to get your license if you take your first segment of driver's ed as soon as you can (14 years, 8 months in MI), or you can get your license in about a month if you do everything after you're 16.DavidL said:You still are required to do a driving test before being allowed to drive independently.
