Whatever age you like. I started at 12, though I admit, I was terrible back then.

But I was very mature for my age at about 14, which was when I became a decent Administrator.

I started one when I was 11, I didn't know anything about forums, we died, I was only 12 at the time so I didn't know better and I deleted it. A few months later, I started one up, got activity, and then gave up again. I then tried it again, with the same name, but on ZetaBoards, never gave up or lost hope, and it's still going.

I was an aweful admin from about 11-13, I had like 5 other admins do all the work for me.
I did essentially the same thing, but I'm really sad that I deleted the forum, simply because I'd love to look back on it. Such a shame.

I was using EzBoard, which everybody knows is the worst possible forum software. 😛

😛 I think the same thing at times, because I would like to keep in touch with the members, which I can't anymore because I deleted it.

It's all down to how mature you are as a person, it will reflect on your forum to others. I put 19 - 20 solely because some of the young Admins I have come across don't know what they are doing. However, we all have to start somewhere.
