I'm looking to buy a hosting account to host my promotion forum on which is currently being made. It must be cheap and fast.

You signed up 2 minutes ago from the suggestion and you consider that to be 'ages' 😕 Decent hosts require processing time to ensure the end user is not a spammer etc., and chances are you're in a line of 20+ people so it does take a bit of time, but it's worth the wait.

I would also recommend Hawk Host (FP is also using Hawk Host) 🙂

I would also recommend using Hawk Host. Haven't had any problems whatsoever and the site loads really fast. Search for some coupon codes and you should get the hosting for a really low price.

He is not looking for a webhost that just started, hawkhost has been around since 04, he is looking for a actual hosting company. A real host.

Real as in I mean, where they actually own their own servers... not use reseller servers from other hosting companies.

and its not resellers he uses a VPS

Thats a tad harsh hes just promoting hes site, As he said everyone starts some where. With a reseller or VPS is don't matter that much.

Also Hawkhost down own their servers. They rent servers from SoftLayer if im correct. :great:

VPSes are just a dedicated server virtualized into smaller servers using a software either openvz or xen types or other's. The dedicated server is still owned by who ever owns it, So like hawkhost's VPSes, They still own the server. Kaiser is actually meaning a data center where you own your own equipment.

@Lee, They might rent the servers, But that's in their own name although they could have bought the servers.
Also they might be doing Colocation and not renting.
Nevermind Softlayer doesn't do Colocation.
