Bitcoin, Your Thoughts?

Well, I have earned myself $3 since I started using Bitcoin last year.. Well..

The $3 might be little now but.. Oh well..

I use it. Its quite useful especially when you have money saved and the worth goes up.

I think Bit Coin is an unnecessary risk. There's no way to validate it against the actual dollar and it's not really widely accepted. Unlike a foreign coin I can't go to the bank and turn a bit coin back into USD. I'm staying far away from it.

I'm not what to think of Bitcoins to be honest. Even though they can be completely anonymous, that's the problem. You wouldn't know who you're exchanging bitcoins with.

And it's on this note I'm going to start to stick money in USD on my QantasCash Card, since then I can't use it, and when the dollar raises again, I'll be sitting on a goldmine.

Ahh, if only.

I never used bitcoin but I like the idea. However its just like an investment. The value of the bit coin might be rising now but we never know what will happen in the future. It could drop in the future. I think it is fine to obtain bitcoins as investment but I think it can never take over the actual currencies. Not to mention many places don't accept bitcoins.

Never used bitcoin, heard about it in 2011. If I had a time machine I'd go back to 2011 and buy about 1000 of them. Come back to the present loaded with cash.

Hmm.. what about altcoin like Stellar? Me and some other from ForumPromotion have invested in Stellar and.. Stellar price is increasing this week! With 200 Stellar = 1 USD !

It's a double-edged sword. Although you're sparing your anonymity, who's to say that the person you're dealing with won't run off with the money?

I honestly don't use bitcoin at all I stick with legit work like service jobs

That sounds as high risk as can be..operating without a license , mentions of drugs..

Very dodgy and I've never been anywhere which advertises accepting Bitcoin as payment, my honest opinion is that this sounds completely disastrous and would urge for folk to be very careful.

It seems like a 'ok' currency, But if you are into mining well you need to go with Litecoin.

I like bitcoin, I have invested a lot of money into it and it has worked out well for me.

And I will continue to keep on using it.

What was the price when you first bought into it?

Haven't heard much about Bitcoin recently. Is Mt.Gox still defunct?

I don't really think Bitcoin has too much of a future. It's not a bad technology, but you can't really have a currency which fluctuates as much in value as Bitcoin. Sure, the value of the US Dollar is pretty arbitrary, but its value can be adjusted by economists so that it always makes at least a bit of sense. You can't really do that with a crypto currency.
