If you can't, is it easy or hard to work with the internet?

I can't figure out how I would surf the net without typing.

everyone can, I can type fast enough. Yet I still look down to my keyboard LOL

Yes of course or I wouldn't have any words in this post 😛

Or did you mean, 'can you touch type'? 🙂

Typing used to only be for secretaries and writers. I mean, who would use it before 1995 (when I took the course)?

Anyway, I'm assuming everyone takes typing now, but then again, so many use cell phones for surfing.

hahaha, if you can't type then how can you able to post here?

I am good in typing on the keyboard because I had learned the so called touch system, i.e. typing without even looking at the keys. But I have also adapted to the virtual keyboard of mobile because I use the smart phone and the tablet for the internet more often than the computer. And in the office, I have to type many documents every day so I really needed to be good in typing especially when I was in the rank and file position.

If you're looking to test the speed of your typing, you could use a free resource such as: https://10fastfingers.com/ -- It's great for practice and information purposes. I believe I type on average around 90~100wpm, although it's been a while since I've tested myself, maybe I should take my own advice and head over to 10fastfingers? :wtf:😀

Actually, typing isn't about the speed. Instead it's can you find keys without looking at them?

If you can type at 90+ WPM I'm sure you have no problem not looking at the keyboard while you do it 😛 -- Although I'm sure there are cases where I'd be wrong. 🙂

I can't imagine having to look at keys while typing, but I bet much of the population does.

I don’t follow the standardized typing pattern, but I do have an intuitive knowledge of where all the keys are, so I don’t have to look at the keyboard or anything.
