Cannot Connect to FTP

Have you put the right username in?
Might get one for a certain directory or anomymnus(can't spell it)

I am putting in the right username, and the password is the same as the cpanel right?

I've tried with Bejays and Fluffybunnys hosting and it gets the same error =|

That's whats giving me the problem. I've gotten fluffy to contact his hosting provider. 🙂

In the mean time use the File Manager via cPanel to upload your files. 😀

I'm wanting to upload something with loads of files, I'll have to select everyone =(

The client is asking for the directory listening (MLSD command) but there's no response. Obviously this isn't a firewall issue on your end, otherwise you wouldn't be able to connect at all.

Try http://ftptest.net/ and paste what it says

Error: Could not resolve hostname: Name or service not known
Make sure to enter the correct server address
You can either enter fully qualified domain names or public IP addresses.
Obviously this script cannot connect to your server should you have entered a private IP address.

Is what is says.

Oops! Google Chrome could not find hostmeh.info 😀

Its not the user end..I even tested this for my self with his details and I too could not access it.

In the mean time you could Zip the files and upload it through File maneger
then extraxt them
If you put the folder names right it should put them in the right folder

If his host has CSF I know exactly the problem, you need to enable passive ftp and open the ports within the firewall on the server end. So if he has root he can do it or his host.

If they don't have CSF installed.....Some type of FTP config on the server is messed up.
