At first glance, I am intrigued by the idea behind the site. That said, I feel that it lacks in creativity in both design and function. The design is way too simple and plain, boring really. And, the function or purpose of the site is that of many I've seen before. Of course, this is a first on Forum Promotion, but there are many free conversion websites out there.

Website Usability: (4 out of 10)
The website is very easy to use and navigate. Your main conversion types are shown on the main page fore easier access. I like how the recent conversions are listed in plain sight as well. Each link on your navigation bar goes to where it's supposed it. That said, whether or not you use free hosting, it is very annoying to click a link in the main navigation bar and have it open an advertisement in a new window or tab. When I clicked on "All Conversions," the page loaded after loading the following page: http://www.mygamersarena.com/spongebob. ... HIvwI&kwd=

I literally had to switch tabs to go back to your site. A user should never click on one of the main navigation links and be redirected to another site.

The site's structure is sound. It's easy to navigate and finding things on the website is simple. The only issue that I have with the site structure is that pesky issue with the advertisement on the navigation link click which is a major issue. Other than that, I think the overall structure is perfect.

Design Quality: (8 out of 20)
As stated in my original statement, this site lacks in design. It's extremely plain, not attractive to the user, and it doesn't give me any kind of "wow factor" that makes me want to stay and use your site over others. The logo and the icons are on point. But, apart from the graphic work, nothing really draws me in.

I do have a few ideas that might be able to help with the design quality of your site.

First, the navigation bar could use a small makeover. Maybe add a gradient to the background and try a different font and text effects on the menu links.

Second, under categories (on the main page), each category has a horrid dark grey background. Honestly, the grey reminds me of a very early, not very attractive, Windows operating system. Instead of the grey, try using a medium to light blue gradient with a slightly darker blue outline. I have the same issue with the information box and the "recent conversions" area of the main page.

Third, a complete site design makeover might be a good idea for your site. It would get you up to par with modern graphic and Web design techniques and displays. But, that's totally up to you as the website's owner.

Originality: (6 out of 15)
As I mentioned in the initial overview of your site, I feel that your site lacks in originality. There are a lot of conversion site's out there. Here are a few examples: Online Conversions, Online Conversion, and Convert Me are just a few of the websites. And, they each offer online conversions for free just like you do. That said, I am impressed that your site is on the first page of the search results when I look up "Online Conversions."

Spelling, Grammar & Professionalism: (14 out of 15)
For the most part; the spelling, grammar, and professionalism of your site is decent. The only issue that I have is the use of the word "so" in any descriptive areas of the site. It's a very professional term to use in general. I'd suggest rewriting the sentences in the description box by adding a period just before each "so" and, then, starting a new sentence. Just a thought.


Thing you liked best about website: I enjoyed the logo and the icons. I also like the idea behind the website even though it's not a very original one.
Thing you liked least about website: The horrid grey boxes throughout the site.

If you implement the suggestions I've given you above, I think the site would be nearly perfect. That said, I'm only one person and these are my personal opinions based on many years of experience in the graphic and Web design industry as well as writing reviews on various types of websites. I already improved the logo of the site, now it is clearer with colors with higher contrast,
and I am working on improving the rest...

Your conversion site looks good. A point I would like to point out is that it looks like a mobile site to me and it doesn't really give me a very professional feel. I think you should either increase the width of your site or/and add a background colour. I am assuming the design is to make the site mobile friendly but it will be a lot more professional if you use use a different design and then make it responsive.


Btw, is your website coded using HTML?
 
Your site seems very useful. I've iswd it quite a few times to be honest. I do think it looks a little plain, though. Maybe you could try to make the pages look a little more jazzed up?
 
Your site features (the converters) are great and very helpful. The only improvements would be site design like said above. It just seems a bit plain and old. Maybe you could go for a much more modern, maybe flat, look. Other than that the site looks to be great.
 
Your site is very neat. Only real constructive criticism you should take into account is the design quality. Your site is really lacking as far as an intriguing layout goes. It really is just boring and simple. With so much potential, I think you could really do so much more.

By first glance...you could tell the site was about conversions...which really does help in everyday life, very slick style for ConvertForFree.com.
Everything is basically on the main page of the website, in categories and also looking pretty much in order with how everything is converted mostly, a lot of amazing colors to go with the style of the website and it stands out.

The website is pretty useable and very easy to navgation to where you want to go to the website, main coversions are shown on the front page of the website Units, Math, Text, Time and Date and Miscellaneous...which would be the best way of finding where you wanted to go in the website.

Site Structure: (13 out of 20)
The site structure itself is lacking in some ways...looks plain to the eyes and people aren't looking to see a plain site...they want something to jump out and catch their eyes, aside from it's simple and easy to work with.
Didn't see any adversiting on the website, mostly cause of the adblocks...but overall on the website structure itself is pretty nice and easy to work with and navgate to were you want to go.

As stated above in this review, the site lacks in design. Different colors on the navgation bar really kills on the eyes..going with different colors for it...I wouldn't do it personally.
The logo is outstanding and the icons to the website are on point with where you are going. When hovering over the category tab and going down the dropdown menu it goes to black...the blue is alright, maybe use a different color than black.

I've seen a lot of conversion websites and ConvertForFree looks pretty reasonable and originality of the website can be found on google and with that being said, examples of other coversions....

Spelling, Grammar & Professionalism: (13 out of 15)
I didn't see any mistakes with spelling, grammar and it all looked professional to my mind, very organized with how to go by on putting them in categories and whatnot.
Pretty straight forward on the website name and what the website is about...I like that. Easy to read, easy to look throughout the introductions of the pages of the website.
Like I said on grammar and spelling very on point with it.


Thing you liked best about website: The categories of the website, really stands out...I really like that, you do really see that whole lot from other websites...exspecially in the navgation.
Thing you liked least about website: Colors in the navagation bar, the black and blue makes me think of when you get hit with a ball or a fist to the eye...seeing black and blue.


Overall Mark: (57 out of 100)
Fix up a few things like the navagation colors, to something like darker oranger and to get rid of that gray color as well, but a total redsign is in order for the website itself.
Other than that, the website looks pretty cool and simple. Easy to work with and easy altogether.​
