You website looks very useful. The darkish boxes like Unit, Math, Text, etc., in my opinion, should be brighter, much brighter. The dark doesn't really work well with the rest of your website, try a much lighter color like #EFEFEF or #FAFAFA, if those are too bright then go a little darker, #DDDDDD.

I like the navigation bar directly underneath the main banner/header because it allows for easy access to everything that is offered on your site. That is one thing I like to see, regardless if it's a website, blog, or forum. I want to be able to navigate the site with ease. Nothing will send me running in the other direction faster than not being able to not find what I am looking for. I'm not really a fan of the "overview" being at the bottom. Yes, you do have direct access to it in the navigation bar but I would move it to the top rather than having it at the bottom. I think you should have it at the top to help explain to the guests that view your site what your site is all about. People might get a general idea when they see the name but the overview would give you the benefit of explaining everything in more detail.
Thing you liked best about forum: Easy access to everything.
Thing you liked least about forum: "Overview" should be moved to the top.
