Cut off age for saying mummy and daddy

Here in Britain, there are more adults that call their parents "Mummy" and "Daddy" than children. 😛

I don't think there is a age limit, everyone calls their parents different things, I call mine Mom and Dad, I never really called them "mommy" even when I was younger. I think it's a preference more a society stricken age limit.

I think I quit using the words mommy at the age of 6 or 7. I don't remember.

Sometimes Mom is another way to respect their elders.
Have you ever seen the TV show 'Mom' if grown ups can create a TV show with that name I guess there is no age where you cannot say these words.

I say Mom and Dad, myself. I stopped using the terms 'Mommy' and 'Daddy' after I was a toddler...unless I was in trouble, then I'd say it in an attempt to be cute and get away with whatever wrongdoing I got myself into - most of the time, it did not work - LOL.

But I still know people, men specifically, grown men, who call their parents momma and daddy. This is actually a popular thing in many southern US states and rural communities. I don't see anything wrong with it. I would see calling them by their actual first names to be more of a problem, personally.

Pita Jee and Mata Jee, no cut off age required for saying mummy or daddy, but only their age should be that, they are always around to love and help us.

None. Suggesting that another word for mother or father is immature is ridiculous, in my opinion. And there are people that believe that saying, 'mummy'/'daddy' is immature, because there are posts that clearly state their believed cut off age.
