It depends what you are looking to do with it. If you are looking to do web browsing, a laptop is sufficient. If you want to do more powerhouse jobs that require betters Graphics, CPU, and more RAM, than a desktop is mandatory.

I think desktop will be better if you are using it to game.
Laptop will be better if you are using it to make Graphic or other work..

I don't know. I seem to like the Laptops better. I can go anywhere I want with mine, and it's got wireless, which makes everything easier when I want ot not be stuck in same spot all the time.

i'm only using the laptop to Program and do general web browsing so i3 is perfect for what I currently what I do. Plus the screen is also big and flat also supports touch.

I wonder if I could upgrade the machines processor ones the warranty is up?

I might be able to upgrade it to A i5, hoping its not soldered to the motherboard.

Laptops are not Normally upgradable The one thing you could do Is upgrade the ram, But you need a 64bit Os for anything over 4.

My windows System is 64 Bit And i Think If Its A Intel Proccessor It can Be Upgraded and replaced not sure.

I think it is best to keep using your CPU until it breaks, or is too slow for your needs since CPU are not cheap to replace, and Intel is coming out with newer CPUs which maybe more worth it.

CPU are usually the most expensive part of your laptop unless you have a very expensive videocard/GPU on your laptop.

The Intel Haswell CPU would be coming out soon, and it would have batter onboard graphics which are as good as current mid-end mobile graphics.

The Intel Haswell would most likely not work with your current laptop.

I seem to fell more comfortable with Latops, Everyone is different.

I like my desktop more. I didn't move my laptop around when I had it anyways. Plus I get more for a cheaper price. The best part is I can a new screen, keyboard, HD, without having to buy a whole new computer.

With laptops you can connect it to A external monitor if you needed to. I am starting to agree that desktops are better to work with I guess the laptop will still get the job for now.

I just remembered that I got some photos on what the machine looks like on my tablet so I post them up once I get home.

Heres a picture of my laptop.

its in the attachment below. Let me know what yous think.

The keyboard can light up.

For me laptop, as it allows me to move around and still be able to use the computer. I could take it to school, a conference etc.

@Spudster; Nice laptop. 🙂

How about a Desktop and Netbook, Instead of laptop or desktop?.

@Dennis

I should of added Other options such as Netbook and Windows Tablet.

If you have ethier of those fell free to vote for Laptop, I guess they do similar jobs and A netbook is A small laptop.

I would add more but it would reset the counter.

A 10" netbook Isnt the fastest of machines, but there great for quick, on the go use. Especially as there smsller and lighter.
