Where is the both option in the poll for those people who like both ? 😀
There are positive things in both
Laptop carry it everywhere
PC better for games sometimes
I hate the laptop only because the keyboard is smaller :S well its normal but i have huge hands and its kinda hard for me to type as fast as on the pc.

Just done a test on my laptop it can have about 60 tabs before freezing and becoming un-responsive to programs. I was pressing CTRL + N fast with chrome so probably more and thats with i3.

Desktop.

Laptops are too small and can cause more problems with posture.

Laptops are ok for occasional use but if you are running a bussiness or like me using your computer all day you need a desktop, my laptop was overheating a lot with continued use so I got a used mac pro from the bay and it's bullet proof, still got the laptop for using at places the mac (at 20kg's) won't go.

Guess its the older models, I have noticed laptops these days have similar spects, For example I am using my laptop with a monitor and keyboard so basically same sort of setup as I desktop and it seems to run at the same rate, Where I did have a older model at one point(2001) and it couldnt handle too much porcessing such as A PC game where my current brand new PC has handled it successfully. (got it in may this year)

I prefer my iMac over my Macbook air just because of the bigger screen.
My macbook air has an ssd which makes it faster but if you have enough ram it only matters at boot to me.

It really depends on what you do, If you need a computer on the go for stuff as such as School or work, then a laptop or tablet might be the best option for your lifestyle. If you don't need your computer on the go, then just stick with a desktop PC, they can be overclocked without much overheating (Compared to laptops) and you get more power for less $$$.

Desktop any day, more customizable, faster, bigger screens, bigger multiple screens 🙂. Desktop space is king but comes down to what you do. No choice when you mobile to use a laptop, but when I get home or at the office I want more.

I agree, overclocking is one of the best part of owning a desktop. Plus, it is pretty easy to install a new power supply, and better cooling like water cooling on a desktop for higher overclocks on the CPU, video card, memory.

Also, you can usually reuse the case, monitor, power supply, hard drives, SSD, CD/DVD drives, cards like sound card, video card, and TV Tuner card, and other parts when building a new desktop with faster RAM, CPU, video card, etc.

Laptop by far, Laptops these are just as powerful as A desktop.

Disagree.

Laptops are not as hot-swappable as PC's. (maybe hot-swappable was the wrong term to use, but it gets my point across).

i would say pc, however if you need to move around, your going to find it hard, at least with a laptop you can take it on the go :/
