I believe competition is a healthy way of growing and keeping initiative high. You can analyze what's working for your competitors and implement the same thought patterns using a unique method for your own community.

Those that spend the most on advertisement got to be lucky to able to have the funds behind them. Not many that do. but other options are doing the free and way harder and longer way LOL Simple tweet feed everyday

Not to be discouraging - but it depends on how many years you have to wait. I'm in my forties now. Anyhow, for any age, the best solution is to get a bank loan, part-time job - and just buy social media followers (and/or email list people).

I never would get a loan lol If the site owner is willing and has the passionate for it then go-for-it. But can not predict the future. It can be wasted money or maybe it will be the best ever spent.
