Hishikawa13 said:Yes. In Luke 1:35 it reads, "The angel answered, 'The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.'" In a sense, that means God was one with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, thus Jesus was God and son of God.
your right, Jesus Christ is not God, he is the son of God.Wolfy said:From what Hishikawa13 says is that Jesus is God and is also the son of God. How can you be the son of yourself?
I am not Christian so I don't believe in any.

God created the heaven and earth, Jesus Christ did not, Jesus Christ died on the Cross,God did not because God never dies but God is so powerful that he raised his only begotten son from the dead.
because only God can do that because he is all power and is the Almighty God.
Your right because how can someone be son of there self.Irviding said:Some Christians believe he is the actual God though. I just think he's the son of God like it's taught in the bible.
You take the bible literature too.... literally.Mokeli said:Your right because how can someone be son of there self.Irviding said:Some Christians believe he is the actual God though. I just think he's the son of God like it's taught in the bible.
Cosmic said:The bible can be very cryptic, as it includes many attempts to make its content easier to relate to to its audience. It's very hard to actually pinpoint its exact meaning. assuming the question is "do you take the angel's word for it", then my answer would be yes. What exactly the true interpretation of "son" is something that I am not well equipped enough to say.
Why even post? The question assumes you are a Christian. The bible's opinion is jsut as valuable as yours, so it would be best you acknowledge that the bible could be true.Sbfc said:Perhaps according to the Bible he is, but no. God doesn't exist. Lionel Messi is the closest thing to a God 😛
