I swear, I'll post anything that comes to my damn mind. So basically my story is that I used to...My wife and I never had a dishwasher, until we moved in 2015 and the house came with a dishwasher and spoiled us. In fact, I said under no uncertain terms that when we leave that house I can never go back to hand washing dishes again.
Long story short, we moved to a dishwasher-less house...Yay. Lasted about a month and due to lack of room in the kitchen a brought a dishwasher and installed it next to the washing machine in the laundry. 😛

I've never had a dishwasher that could "clean" without a good pass at hand-washing everything first, so I figure I might as well do it all by hand. Takes less time.

I always use a dishwasher. Some of the really dirty dishes might get a little hand cleaning, but the dishwasher always does the bulk of the work. Perhaps I'm a germaphobe, but I'm a little worried about sanitizing the dishes.

Drag. We get a few rejects but I normally just jam them straight back in.

So you should be - that stuff coming into contact with food!!

I do both. I hand wash when I've just used a couple dishes and I use the dishwasher when they've piled up a little bit.

I do because I've never had a dishwasher. I also hand washed dishes at my fiancé's house only to realize after that his dishwasher works. XD

we do but I don't do the washing up. The last house we had an dish washer but this time there is no space for an dish washer

Have you looked at the Laundry..I was saying the same thing for about a month. 😉
Most homes in the UK not have laundry. Our washing machine is in the kitchen

Unless I was rich and got myself 5 bedroom home 😛

We tend to use paper plates in my house to cut back on needing to wash dishes (plus our hot water heater sucks, and no one wants to wash dishes with cold water), so we don't wash dishes a whole lot. In the past, we've always done it by hand and never used the dishwasher. My mom's never really liked using them and it's easier for her to do it by hand (since she has to do that anyways before putting it in the dishwasher), so she just doesn't use it. In the place we're at now, we don't have a dishwasher at all.

We have to now. Since our dishwasher broke. It wasn't washing them. So now we have to take dish soap and do it by hand. Which is a big pain to do.
