Mom and pop. I think it's because of the processing fees they would pay for accepting credit/debit.

Oh yeah, that definitely makes sense. The fees are super high from what I’ve heard a couple of times.

We only ever use cash for the taxi because they charge a card fee otherwise.

I use it a lot. All the best pizza/sandwich shops here are cash only. Most are Italian mafia covers and they use it to clean their money.
