Do you use your personal Paypal for your forum/site?

For my site I use a business paypal.

I don't want to use separate accounts, it's just too much work especially with my countries laws and limits :S

I use my personal PayPal. It seems like too much work for a business one unless you are actually really committed to your business/project.

Personal is sufficient if you are not going to make lot's of transaction. You can use a personal one for business but just make sure you make a note of which transactions are personal and which ones are business just so it's easier when you do taxes.

I used Paypal back when I was paying for my domain on the forum I took down.

OMG you guys I was FINALLY able to close my account the other day. I got no where with my initial attempt with the automated system. They kept asking me for proof of business. I just started sending them anything like hosting billing information, domain registration, etc. What they FINALLY accepted was my Passport. Can you believe that? lol I wasn't able to remove my bank account information straight away - the system was telling me to "try again later" so after a couple of days I went back and I was able to successfully remove my bank information and I closed down that second account. What a nightmare it was. I'm glad it's finally over.

I see no problem with creating a personal Paypal and a business Paypal. But to me, I suggest one Paypal at a time. You don't have add or maintain different credit cards onto two accounts. You can also make a note to yourself in Paypal whether what money you're sending/receiving is for Personal or Business purposes.

Yes I jumped the gun on this one. I definitely will consider your approach in the future. 😉 I don't want to have to deal with more than one paypal account.

Yep. I have a personal paypal and a business one (that's linked to an LLC). I mostly use the personal one for forum stuff though.

I think it is alright. There is nothing to scare if people just find your PayPal ID. Well, the fact is you also have to submit it usually.
