Do your parents know about your website?

Of course my parents know about my forum, but it doesn't do them any good as they don't speak English 🙁

How did you learn English? I figured it would be harder considering your parents don't...
 
Not at all. And I don't want them to. They'll stalk my websites. 😀
 
Yes, mum does know about Asperger's Network... She's a member on the site, or will be again soon.

She actually believes it is a good idea and will go far (As with a lot of teachers I had at school...)
 
I'm pretty sure my mom at least knows I'm involved with a bunch of sites online. Whether or not she knows I'm running one is an entirely different story. She's aware I'm on various sites though, but she doesn't really care, & she wouldn't be interested in any of them anyways.

My dad, on the other hand, doesn't even really know how to use a computer, so he wouldn't even really know what a website is. xD
 
My parents aren't all that computer-savvy. Anything beyond Google and Facebook is beyond them.
 
I'm close with my parents, but not that close. They probably wouldn't care, and I don't really care to tell them too much. I may love the heck outta them, but I don't even live with either. It's no big dealio.
 
Mistake telling mine. Now every time there's a family outing or get together, they're always like "tell them about your websites".... well, they're forums about games. Oh games.... ..end of convo.
 
I went to CeBIT - Some of the Merchants seemed pretty interested about Asperger's Network - I forgot to take the cards though.
 
I haven't lived at home since I was 18, but yes my parent's know about my site. It's probably a better way to contact me since I hate Facebook and other sites like it. My mom has known about mine and my brother's [now closed] forum since they started and even though she never participates she is there in case something bad happens to me or my husband.

She actually visits my site often as a guest because she can never remember her password and also it is usually because she likes my skins and is usually showing off my site to her friends or other people from her church.. (it really is a good thing that she can only see my forum as a guest.. so that they aren't offended by some of the language or anything else..)

Otherwise, she'll go there if she needs help with something on her phone and can't remember the things I told her to download after rooting or flashing a rom to her phone.. so I'll text her a link to the topic if I don't feel like repeating myself.
 
I don't live at home but my family all know that I started my forum. My mother even signed up just to give me another member. LOL.

My mother still writes with a dip-in pen.
The word website is unheard of for her.
She knows, but that's about it for me. 🙂
Computers aren't widely discussed at home.
But at home-base, computers are everywhere.
 
Yes my mother knows I work online but she wouldn't visit my sites as she doesn't know the topics at all.
