Do your parents know what you do on the internet?

as long as nothing that doesn't include "stroking the clown", she doesn't care (So I have to use the PS3 for that)

Seems like a question geared towards kids living with their parents..

Anyway, I live on my own and I pay my internet bill so whatever I do on the computer is my own business. 😛

Both of my parents know I go on forums. They have no experience in forums, and I had to teach my dad how to use Wordpress, even though it is really easy to learn.

My mother thinks I own every forum I go on, and I don't know what my dad thinks about it.

My parents hate me signing up for one or even going on one, they think if I'm on one I own it and when ever I signup they say "Not another forum :shake: ."

Most of the time I live on my own.

So the porn stays between me and the internet.

Why not just use google chrome porn mode?

Cause right after its done, I can quickly get on black ops. It's obvious

^ Legendary response.

But yeh, my parents know what I do to a sense, I don't tell them ALL the juicy details though.

How can they think that just because a person's on one, it means they own it? There are different colors for different usergroups for a reason.

My dad knows I design and do web stuff but my mom doesn't really understand much of anything, other then that, they don't really know much of what I do.

My parents don't really have a clue anymore. I used to explain forums and such to them when I first started going on forums, but I grew out of doing that real quickly. They do know that I am quite tech savvy though, I have had to help them with their computers many times. Including one time where I had to show my Mom how to copy and paste. 😛

I had to try show my mum how to copy and paste the text on her iPad. Ended up she was trying to copy and paste text which was one large image

Nope, they just think I'm on Facebook. It's a lot easier to say that too. xD

They know about my website, because I shove the name of it down there throat 😛 I want them to know how hard I worked on it when I make billions, but they don't understand how hard I actually work. Money talks, so when I bring in the dough, they'll see.

If my dad where to watch what I was doing right now he would have no idea what was going on so they really don't know what I do even if I explain it to them.
This.

Well it appears as though the members posting on this forum still live with their parents, so I was wondering since I am also not living with my parents:

  • Do most of your parents talk to their kids about the dangers of the Internet
Do any of your parents block specific sites?
Are your parents savvy enough to monitor young people on the net?

It's been awhile since I had to worry about these things. Just curious.

They dont know a thing cause I dont live with my parents anymore and I cant find a reason why should I go and talk about my online adventures.
