I see, Paid refferal traffic might also get them more traffic, but may not be worth it unless they have a lot of high paying ads.

I guest Domain parkers can also use Adwords, NeoBux, and other Paid to Click ad networks which allow advertising of domain park pages as text link ads, so if they pay a 0.01 cents to 0.25 cents or more per click, and make $1 or more on an Ad clicks on their park domain page then they can make a nice profit.

or

they can just pay 5-10 dollars a year to advertise their park domain on smaller websites which get 100 page views or less a month, or e-mail a bunch of webmasters to see which are willing to advertise links for a few dollars a year.

"Back then", domains were free, in fact, to own a domain was something not many people even considered to be worth your time. Sure enough, people started registering hundreds if not thousands of domains for 10+ years and so that's why today, you see many parked and left to be profited off by type in traffic. If only we had today's knowledge 20 years ago...

they were first $50 but you had to register for atleast 2years so $100 total.
