I recently made a custom modification for someone that does this. However, I'm not planning on releasing that code because it is custom for that person. In any case, it is possible for it to be done, but I'm not sure if there are currently any free MODs that have this capability. You could make a request in a donation MOD topic on phpBB.com for them to add a progress bar into the default features, or else you can get a custom MOD.

Well, I charged $25 (USD) for it. But I am currently working on another custom MOD, so I would have to wait until after that to do another one. And the price could vary depending on how exactly you want it to work. I'll contact you about it if you still want it when I'm done with my current project. 🙂

Well if your forum is worth donating to, sure people will donate!

I think donation goals are only good for forums that are working toward a major upgrade that the owner can't pay for out of pocket. For example, moving to a VPS.

What forum was it for? Not many people on my forum donate only 2/25, But not bad,

Money is not everything. It was for my mate's forum which I can't link too.

However you shouldn't rely only on donations, however if you can get your members to donate then great!

OK, But I paid for stuff on my forum, Domain etc.

I might have to ad some ads to the forum, But would it put people off?

Well there's a lot of forums with ads and a lot of users, however don't go over board with your ads, just place 1 or 2 on a page maximum.
