Empire hostings is closing and need another hosting

It was very recently announced that the hosting I'm using is shutting down pretty soon. So I need another hosting that can match this range:

I currently pay $4 a month for 15GB storage, 300GB bandwidth, cloud flare and full Cpanel pro.

Anyone know a good hosting for a IPB forum and wordpress site and does the transfer process for me? My broadband internet can't handle the process of moving 5,436.12 MB of data very well.

I too am currently lost as well. I need to find Geeks Hut a home and can't find anything decent which doesn't have really bad reviews. Everything seems a ripoff compared to the prices EH has had. So I'm currently on the look for something. Yay >.<

This has been a very tough decision and something I have had to think long and hard about. Simply put Empire Hostings can no longer sustain itself financially and I can't keep paying out of my pocket for it. I figured it best to go ahead and send this out so that our users will have time to find themselves an alternative. The official end will be August 7th so please have your sites sorted out by then. If you need any help open a support ticket and I will do my best to help you with whatever you need. If you have purchased a domain through EH we use Namecheap to resell so you can create an account there and we can push the domain to your account. Open a support ticket for that as well.

Again I am very sorry to bring this bad news to you all. I know how much of a pain changing hosts can be. I have tried and tried to find an alternative to this but there just isn't one.

Somehow I find that offer hard to believe that something like that even exists. Usually to get the best out of premium plans you usually have to pay a lot more than that. Sad to hear about EH though. I've never used them, but I've heard nothing but positive feedback about that host. As for prophpBB, I have no idea what their prices are for premium plans. I remember looking once just for the heck of it, but I can't remember what I saw though.

That's why EH was so amazing! The prices were very cheap and you got so much for what you paid.

Hhahha Geoffrey, I'd try to find a host very similar to EH if I were you.

I've never heard of ProphpBb though.

I prefer MyBB anyways.

Sad to see Empire Hosting go down. I know it has been a valued host within FP for some time. If I would be able to get in contact with the owner I would help personally keep it online and alive by purchasing it off him and continue with the support and server updates.

Sad to see EH closing down, it was a great host. That said, HawkHost is the best host I've ever been on and I highly suggest switching to them if you are moving.

I would think if anyone could handle it, they could. If EH could handle it, I'm sure Host Gator could as well too.

This is a really bad time. I just spent $45 last night on a new design for Geeks Hut (which is now up) and now I'm going to have to pay for new hosting! I think Jordan is offering a good offer though, and I only need a webhost for a few months so I might go with that one, depends!
