Looking at ‘Encounter Culture’ for the first time, I have mixed feelings about it. Mainly about the title of the forum and the content variety being offered inside. The forum title is actually quite interesting that it made me curious about the forum. I find a strange attempt to mix various topics together in one forum, namely discussions about general life and webmaster category at the bottom. I can see that both are part of our culture nowadays, but to see both integrated in one forum, especially with webmaster section having its own category, the balance feels off. However, the forum radiates aura of comfort and laid-back discussion which is worthy of praise, in my opinion. That can be a strong asset for the forum.

I am personally a fan of dark themes because they are easier for my eyes. I actually like your default theme quite much, although I must also say that I also feel confused at times. For example, while looking at the banner, it is pretty sad to see a banner only occupying half of the space available for it. The banner also does not really reflect the idea of the forum, and the purple sub-text took too much attention to decipher compared to the forum title below it. Some other themes seem to have problem with color combinations which sometimes cause the text to be harder to read, for example the gold navigation links against blue background in ‘Ledger: Blue’ theme.
Thank you very much for the list of themes to choose from, that definitely helps to cater to various needs of visitors.

Being original is probably very tough nowadays, and I view your attempt of mixing various topics in one forum as an attempt to make a more unique place for visitors. The current set up feels a bit off the balance though; with some reorganization and adding more relevant content the forum can set off to greater state. At least I feel that you have not fully explore the culture for the forum. For example, maybe you can provide a place to talk about traditional events in various countries and their meaning. That can make the content richer and more original compared to other general discussion forums.

Final Remarks
‘Encounter Culture’ has a lovely title with possibilities of content to be explored. I hope that it is attempted properly to see the full potential of the forum and its name, and hopefully visitors will be interested in such rich content. With good maintenance of the technical aspects as well, I believe the forum can grow better than this. Good luck!
