Some people say the world will end in 2012,many think this because the Maya calendar ends on December 21 2012.So do you think the world will end in 2012 ?

People have said the world would end many times over, and many of the suggestions that have said would kill us can be explained and/or having been happening all the time.

Like the switching of poles.

I personally to not believe that the world will end. If it does, it will all be caused by humans, nothing religious.

Religion can cause wars though and people believe the next world war (hopefully there will never be one) will be nuclear.

you dont need to believe it, almost every country has nuclear bombs, if there is going to be a war, it is going to be nuclear..

Yea I was about to say something about that but then, refrained myself from talking offensively against other country's and other religions but since you started let me say this.. once Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, get a hold of an atomic bomb, nothing can stop them. As you know suicide bombers get "rewarded in heaven" for suicide bombings thats what their religion says, and if anything happens they are going to be the first ones to throw a bomb, and they dont care if they die, because they believe "alah" will meet them in heaven and reward them for their job....... -roll-

I wasnt even going into that. Simply because the USA is currently at war with Iraq, that could lead to problems and possible conflicts if Iran had the ability to produce a bomb (which they did).

Just normal war really. Sucks for meeeeeee (im in the usa).

My problem with the Mayan calender is that it's uniquely set up, it was used with a stone rock. Don't get me wrong, they were EXTREMELY intelligent people, they used a stone rock and put it in a round formation. What if they used a bigger rock? Would it be later on where we would die? Maybe a smaller rock would make it an earlier "end of the world"? Also, what makes 6/6/06 any different? 1/1/2000? I mean, there are many flaws to this one, just as the many others there were.

Heck they are already talking about things happening on 2038 something about a unix bug...(like the y2k bug,but only on unix like oses)

if is the end of the world it will happen but no one can predict that..!
as we can all do is to repent in our sins and start to know and learn our purpose here in earth..!
