Facebook Advertising

Sounds pretty trusting, but tbh, I feel like it would be more worth it if channel/website had a good standing amount of people or the video/website idea was brilliant. I might try it tho.

FB Advertising isn't bad. I've used it a couple of times. But my CPC was way higher. So I received significantly less clicks for the money I spent. And of those clicks, I didn't get any new members. So I stopped using it. I feel like if you have the $$ and can run a long campaign then it would be very beneficial. But on smaller terms, you won't see a return on investment in most cases.

It does seem worth it! Over 3000 people viewed your site, and you gained a few more members. Some members may join later down the line

I just want to discuss the pros of Facebook advertising. You can pay a minimum of $5 to run a campaign, I ran it for a day, $5 budget. My forums had 136 guests and these were my results.

Do you think the $5 was worth my time? I do, opinions on FB advertising please!
Did you use automatic or manual bid? I seem to have a very high CPC with automatic bid.

i used it once for unrelated reasons and it worked out pretty well it just takes sometime

all the time, but it's allot of work and well sometime I get nowhere

Social media advertising can help though I personally do not like Facebooks new advertising system- pay us for views which guarentee nothing (especially at a low cost like $5)

Well it seems it worked, but not many people click off Facebook to go on forums these days. Forums are dying out.

all is up to your purpose, if you want to increase traffic with limited budget, you can spend more, you post imagine i don't still resolve

I've attempted to use Facebook ads for several forum projects including a very targeted site I own that I'm the only forum for and literally got ZERO ROI. Sure, I got some clicks but it didn't lead to any new members.

I definitely wouldn't recommend using it for forums.

Facebook is indeed very popular and effective social media around the world. This is cost effective and provide you results as per your niche (as per your mentioned tags). As shows in data in your post, i can say that if you invest in it with more planning, you will definitely get success.

Tried it a couple of times in the past but didn't get any members, did generate some traffic though. Might be time to give it another go.
