There, I said it. Facebook groups aren't so awful.
One reason I say that is because I might possibly have to do a certain diet for a body scan and then radiation after if my thyroid cancer returned. I found a Facebook group that is devoted to the Low Iodine Diet and I have to say, I'm impressed with how they've run it. It's the closest that a group has come to living up to the standards of forum life.
They have an onboarding with videos to watch and even a mini quiz for newbies before they make posts. Even though people don't always comply, the admins are on top of them asap. There are admins covering a variety of different countries to help with questions on foods in their areas.
Are there any Facebook groups that you're impressed with and even though you still are a fan of forums, at least there are a few groups that are tolerable?
