Feedback on semreach

I like your theme and your blog in general: it looks like you have very good content! 😉
One thing I noticed as soon as it loaded was a misspelling: "Hiring an SEO Company."
Another problem I had was the right content bar. It's way to long in width in my opinion. It gets my eyes off of the actual content.

Nice website.

Your blog can still be a little polished. As above the sidebar is very large and distracts from the content. Also, you are lacking some of the most basic features members enjoy. Such as subscription via email.

Other than that your blog is amazing and I read it regularly.

Cheers mate. I based the "an" off the fact that "SEO" is sounded as "ess-eee-ohh", ie. a vowel sound first, but I changed it as it works both ways.

The sidebar is that large by default. However, larger, successful seo blogs (Link) have a relatively larger sidebar compared to content. Personally, I think its ok as it is, but thanks for the suggestion.

A subscription would be great, though do you have a link to a plugin etc.?

Cheers mate 🙂

It looks very professional, nice and neat & tidy but the theme in my opinion is very dull and boring. It needs more colour, but other than that its nice.

Thanks for the feedback, Heartless.

I have chosen this theme for its professional design, so the colors are part of its professionalism. I may change the skin if another one comes up.

As far as design is concerned, you seem to be heading in the right direction, but your navigation bar looks awkward, your sidebar is cluttered, and what is up with that weird stroke around your logo?

Thanks for the feedback.

However, I changed the theme once more due to a recent Google innovation. The other 3 things should be slightly fixed with the theme change.

Nice theme. But I think the logo is doesn't fit the theme. Your articles are written professionally.

A new theme is in use. Please remember that the target audience is about 10 years older that the average on Forum Promotion.

I can't think of any improvements to be honest. Possibly add more widgets and make it more interactive or something?

I read you blog almost everyday, great posts. Keep up the good work :great:

Thank you Tejmal. I would like to add more features, but the more features I add, the more load time, which I don't want users experiencing. I have to balance it up, although I will try to find some other things to add to make it a good experience, but a professional experience.

+rep 🙂

WP-Cache is really bad on the other really good plugins I have, and possibly on your blog as well. It can harm your site if you don't apply it correctly. Anyway, I have a relatively fast site, so no need for WP-Cache.

WP-Cache has done wonder's for me and you say it may "harm" your blog, how would that be possible?
