About my comment, I was just being honest.
I'm not going to lie...
It is a nice guide, just did not help me. Geez.
It's not what you said mate, it's how you said it. "Waste of time" came off as an insult, which prompted Pimped to defend me on that note.

Thanks.

The number of different Dummies books amazes me.

Well done Michael.

By the way I have some advertising space available on my forum if required.

Seriously Best Of Luck

Thanks gent. :great:

I've thought about renaming it...and then just said "Naaah."

Yeah, I've noticed.

I just don't have the time to dedicate to it at the moment. I recently undertook a pretty large site project which will be eating up some of my time

I'm hoping I can set some time aside to write more on Sunday (tomorrow). You'll know if it gets upgraded then. 😉

This is a really nice guide! 😀

Why not sticky it?

rep by the way. 😛

Because it always gets bumped and is on many sites anyway, including the original.

Thanks gent. :great: Don't worry about a sticky. This guide might very well stay on the front page of the Promotion Tricks forum for quite a long time.

Really It's a great tutorial. It really helped me a lot. I admire the time and effort you put into this. Thanks a lot for sharing. Keep posting more and more.

Thanks a lot gent. 😀 I have indeed put quite a bit of time into this, and I'm glad you enjoyed it, and that it helped you.

As to why this hasn't been updated. First off, I'm turning it into an HTML document. It's getting quite a bit long to stay as a forum thread, and I'll post a download link when I've got it finished. Second, for the past few months...I've been working on a very large site project (which will finally become public in a couple days.) And my effort has been focused on that far more than it's been focused on this guide. But I haven't abandoned it. And I will be working on it quite a bit when my new site gets launched. Thanks to all the gents who loved this guide. It's far from complete, and has a long way to go. So I hope you'll be checking back and anticipating it.

Very very very nice guide. I really liked it. Good guide for people like me. 🙂. Might take me some time to read it fully (Just scanned through it ATM)

Ta ha. Well I can hardly consider it a book at the moment. If I formatted it to pdf, I doubt it would even stretch 20 pages.

But, I am working on 5 other spin off guides in addition to this one which have a purpose to help any webmaster they can.

Decided to call the series (which FAfD will be included in) "Webmaster's Sorcery". I was actually thinking about PM-ing you you with that interview I told you about a long while ago; within the next couple days.

We'll see. 😉

Michael, please feel free to PM me whenever you are ready.

Don't be over critical of what you have to offer. I've seen PDF books with a lot less helpful information than what you have in your guide.

Massive bump.

This version of my "guide" is now very outdated. New one's actually an eBook now. (Finally fit in your interview too, Clover)
I'll try to get this version upgraded up to specs, and post a download link to the full version. Because FP probably can't fit the characters of the full guide.

Definitely deserves a +rep.

Also, a very nice guide and also very detailed, covers almost every points, if not all.

Currently trying to get in contact with Michael to see if he can continue the guide, or see if he can give someone permission to do so on his behalf.
