I haven't had much of a look for styles for vb but i will probably stick with a darkish skin with a light one for people who prefer light skins...

For light skins these are 2 that look good - http://www.stsoftware.biz/forum/index.php?styleid=31 based of this one for phpBB3 - http://www.stsoftware.biz/phpbb3/index. ... e=serenity . The only difference is really the width. Also this one is quite good - http://www.stsoftware.biz/forum/index.php?styleid=8 based off this one http://www.stsoftware.biz/phpbb3/index.php?style=etech . With both of them you can use ColorizeIt to pick the colours you want.

As you can see there is not that much difference between the skins for each forum software and they look quite nice as far as light templates go in my opinion.

I'd be able to live with one of those styles. ~smile~

Also, i could knock up a new header image for you ~smile~

You sound like you are coming around to the idea -lol-

Well, it's as soon as i realised that some php styles were also available in vB. The layout is all i'm botherd about ~smile~

You`ve all changed your minds, suddenly hehe.

You were all saying that I should stick with phpBB before, but IMO moving to vBulletin was the best choice I made.

I wish you you the best of success.

Regards Jason 🙂

You probably thought the opposite when you were converting by the looks of you support topic on their support forum. -😉-

Nope, I always had faith. Just because you have a few technical difficulties, it never puts me down, and I`ll continue until I get it right.

I`m loving vBulletin right now, and I`ve learned a lot. At the end of the day, I don`t specialize in "Web design" but I`ve learned a lot. My advantages are on computers, as I own an IT Company. But I`ve learned a lot in web design, afterall, everyone has to start somewhere.

Regards Jason 🙂

Anyone work for "Mcafee Site advisor"?

I work there as a reviewer and it's a really good role that I have...

You own McAfee? ~cheesey_grin~

Anyway, i'm quite interested to see how this converstion turns out, that's if it happens. ~smile~

You own McAfee?

I wish lol.

I`ve just been working with computers for over 10 years now lol

The conversion should go well, although mistakes can happen and I`ve seen a few problems from converting from phpBB3, myself included lol.

But Fowler may stay with phpBB3 or get IPB as he prefers that.

Regards Jason 🙂

52% want to stay with phpBB3 but we may still change. It probably won't be for a little while though if we do.

Its like £180 for V Bulletin though, i just think you should stay with phpbb3 for a while

We can get a vb license for $130 or £66 in our money (according to a online converter) so it is not that much really.

Oh, not bad

Well you could try and make the money off Bidvertiser, then use that money to buy VB 🙂

It isn`t £66. And not $130, it`s $160.00

For an Owned license it is £91.00, plues there`s VAT:

VAT: 15.93 GBP
Total Order Value: 106.93 GBP
Total Paid: 106.93 GBP

Regards Jason 🙂
