I have an owned vBulletin license that I am thinking of selling.

I was thinking, I can setup a test vbulletin forum with all the posts and users in here, that way people can navigate around it etc and see it in real time.

The way the discussion has gone, it looks like it's going to be vB. I quite like the idea somebody came up with of setting up a demoboard of this place on vB ~smile~

Yes but if the main point of this is too see what the community wants and the votes are swinging to staying it will probably stay. Unless the admins just change anyway. I personally voted for VB as i was a user on a VB forum and i thought it was very good.

You were in a custom usergroup which I didn't import, my apologies.

I ran the biggest promotion forum/site of the day on IF. IPB is like that, so I really think it would do well.

IF vbulletin is done right, and you get the right template, VB can be really well done 😛

I dunno, I just prefer phpbb boards I guess, it's just user preference and I prefer phpbb. I would say it's not worth the money to upgrade to vB from phpbb3, which is what this is all about right, is it really worth the money to upgrade? I say it's not worth it, If it was me spending the money to upgrade forum software though I'd go with IPB, but I say just stick with phpbb3.

Can't transfer the board's database to a free host. Besides, i get the impression the Admins don't want to use a free host, considering the one we're using at the moment is Advanced hosting ~razz~

Well the votes say that we should stick with phpBB3.

Thats what i personally think we should do, although i wouldn't mind giving vB or IPB a go.
