It’s a gaming forum. There isn’t anyone on there that I’m paying to post. Not yet anyway.
Just like one I think. The logo has stayed the same since but just went through various brand colours and we settled for this one.
I like it here as your Avatar, but I find it a little difficult to distinguish with the colors of your site.
Can you elaborate please?

Or perhaps make the four middle dots white and the word Joy white too - scrap grey from the logo pallete and it might look cleaner 🙂
I have to say, I normally don't like forums that don't have the traditional forum layout where you get categories, you click on them, and then you see a list of topics without the actual content shown. But I actually really like the way it's done on JoyFreak. Looks great, especially with the dark theme.
Yes, I might try that. Thank you to both of you for your suggestions! I'll do it over the next few days as I'm pretty busy these days but when I do, I'll let you all know so you can check it out and give me your opinion 🙂

Thank you so much. Yes, I did and I was close enough to scrape the whole thing but some people convinced me not to and I'm glad I didn't in the end.
BTW, @Katrina and @Cumulus , I tried to change the logo based off you suggestions but neither of them looked good on the dark background that the logo is sitting on. White just does not work. I also asked someone else's opinion that was readily available and they agreed it didn't look good with the white and preferred the current logo as it is. I am still open to suggestions and trying things out because I agree, it would look better if the logo stood out and looked more cleaner than it currently is.
Instead of white, why not try a lighter shade of grey? If your background is at 20% grey, then try to make the spaces on your logo 10% grey instead of white. It should be enough to draw out the logo more without making it too obvious.

You did it! That looks so much better!! I can see the logo now and it's not just a blob on my screen. I'm looking at it on my laptop.
