The directory is quite new and optional. So only those who opt-in are listed. We originally had over 100 boards, but I did some cleaning earlier this week to delete spam/inactive test boards. Normally I wouldn’t do that, but it were obvious ones that don’t have a purpose or were going to be actual communities. And just in case I accidentally do this, there is a 90-day restoration window. Just for the record, forums having content, whether inactive for a long period or not, will never be deleted.
 
It's good to remove inactive sites if they've been dead for a year or so, why keep them, taking up server space and resouces

Out of curiosity, what software does this use? I don't see that anywhere, is this a custom software made specifically for FS? Or is it a fork of another software? Looks good.

It's custom! Originally it was created by Jamie, but Cedric took over the project recently. Him and Mace are working on FS and they've been doing a good job!

As Raven said, Jamie built our foundation since 2023. I’ve took over the project 6 months ago or something and have been working on it almost on a daily basis ever since.

It’s built with Laravel, Tailwind, Livewire and Alpine.js mainly. It’s super lightweight, fast, flexible and reliable.

I recently hired Mace to help with UIX, as she is an expert in this. You can see what we have planned with that here:
