While we used to have a dark theme, we had a lot of positive feedback when we first rolled out this light theme way back when. I think many forums are starting to shy away from darker themes because they generally look less professional than light themes.Nogitsune said:Dark themes would definitely be preferred but looking good on this theme nonetheless. Nice work
Sounds great! I love having an option on a forum.Twisted Fairytale said:However, we're currently considering the possibility of a dark theme!

Thanks for the suggestion. In order to have a wysiwyg editor, we need an extension and we have no plans in making one at the moment due to its complexity. However this may be available in the future.

Really? You can't tell me this forum platform doesn't have one already available for download. It's common and an expected thing on this forum. Here I was thinking this forum would catch up to 2015 but it seems we're going to stop around 2007 and wait a bit. lol. Your call I guess.

There are plenty of extensions for custom bbcodes, but I havent seen any made so far, that is a WYSIWYG Editor, for 3.1.
Here's one in beta - https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtop ... it=wysiwygQuacker Jack said:Joshua Farrell said:Rebel said:MasterA said:Rebel said:Looks clean. Hoping we'll have a wysiwyg editor this time,.

Indeed. Furthermore, there isn't such a plugin for WYSIWYG for PHPBB. If you were able to find one, I think we would all be very interested. We would be very interested in it. However, as of now, like MasterA said, we have no plans of developing this as it would be extremely complex.
