FP hiring - you might be the perfect fit

Good luck to everyone applying. Still new here, and it seems newbies can't apply irrespective of the experience they've got.

What are some of your experiences?

I can write articles, post on forums, and run some roles as administrator or moderators on forums.

I aim to build better experiences with time.

What forums have you been on staff previously?

Best of luck to everyone! Working on the FP Team was always a grand experience. I miss the old days of my time on FP Staff 😀

What was your role? Would you consider applying again for staff?

I have had my two forums that I ran in the past, but I closed them because of my studies back then.

I also helped a friend as a moderator in his sports forum around 2021 before focusing on studies.

I'm basically focused on writing at the moment to prove that I am that good at handling other roles.

Thanks for asking @Katrina

I believe the "30-day member" rule is actually closer to a guideline. They check each candidate individually. As far as my understanding goes, this is set up so they can get to know you, form an opinion about you, and, based on that opinion, make decisions about the recruitment.

And well, it doesn't look fair to me for somebody to join a new forum and immediately ask to become staff. Take your time to look around, see how things are, make some friends with the members. Get the community to feel connected to you. And then, I think, it would be the perfect time to apply for staff.

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with somebody wanting to help. But we need to feel safe, make sure their intentions are pure. Nobody started their way from the top.

I held many different roles here at FP in my past.

I was on the Community Team for a bit under Thomass and I believe another CTL.
I was on the Package Team a long time ago when it was run by Hissae and Sshadow
I was on the Review Team a long time ago when it was run by Tindris and then eventually @Cam became my lead for some time.

I was the Review Team Lead as well for some time.

Definitely an amazing community to be apart of, I miss being on the staff with everyone. Made many memories with everyone.

Hello, friend

I simply wished everyone applying at the moment the best of luck and the follow-up was a simple observation, okay?

That's by the way, hope you are fine?
