I mean at least it's not the U.S. but it's still a little depressing. 🙁

I feel for you. I went to a school where at least 40% of the people were muslim or at least middle-eastern (a few Lebanese Christians) and where the white people are the minorities. I'm sure there will be some angry faces tonight.

Pun intended?

It's strange to notice that there are less than 1% Muslim women living in France who actually wear a Burqa. Strange enough, please don't ask me from where I got such figures.

I'm sure there are more, but it still doesn't change the fact that it is wrong.

Wrong or right isn't an option in the modern world. Take communism for example. It's theory behind it may seem right, yet millions are struggling to move forward in those countries. If it was "wrong", wouldn't the UN have done something by now? No, not at all. Wrong or right is relative. In the government's eyes, it is right, but in your eyes, it is wrong. It is also by comparison and past experiences. If you were treated unjustly when you were a kid, then you may think this is wrong. If you were bullied by a Muslim, then you may think this is the perfect "revenge". Again, wrong or right isn't a fact, just a perspective.

Do you think France, would officially expel its Muslim population if they thought they could get away with it?

That type of phobia makes me think in that direction. If the world continues to criticize France for passing a law that undermines our democratic principles, then maybe the French elite will rethink their approach to the issue.
