FreeForums.org Hosted Forums Are No Longer Ad-Free!!!

The amount of times though I have seen division say 'we will never put ads on are forums' -roll-

AdBlockPlus is alright, but it slowed my computer down when I used it. So I disabled it.

If you think that Forumer is better, you are sadly mistaken. I just took a quick look over your forum, and within the space of of only a few minutes, your flash banners were "flashing" and playing sound.

FF banners do not Flash, and do not play sound, and what's more, they offer the choice to choose between ad-type, so there's no need to put up with banner ads.

FF banners do flash, I've seen quite a few of them at forum advertizer flash, have animation etc. No noise (YET) but definitely flashy ones.

now thats why myfreeforum.org are the best ones, they give you full access to edit all templates and much much more, you have full control over your forum.

One of the problem with freeforums.org is the ability to insert javascript into the page, for example: http://spyka.freeforums.org

Harmless enough in that concept, but it could quite easily be used to redirect to a virus or phishing site, etc.

well you cant escape ads on any hosts so get used to them

Some sites are ad-free and have ways to get money to keep it. One host is French based so all forums in French have ads so all the UK and US members can make adfree boards so the french forums cover the costs -😉-
