Ah yes, George Bush (2nd one of course). I personally hate his guts. Really. I just saw Michael Moore's documentary on him "911 Fahrenheit" (If you watch this movie, you will catch A LOT of Bush's, what we will call, messups."

Watch this documentary from Michael Moore to get all of it in one, but I have done my real research as well.

What do you think?

I hate Bush. He should've never been elected. Ever. I personally think he should've died there in the rudest state of America(minus New York and California)

The Iraq war was stupid, and i think we should do whatever we can to end it, even if that means spreading through every middle-eastern country to find the terrorists, or even bombing them, as long as it ends.

He spent too much on Iraq, fighting a war only he and his father wanted to fight.

Other than that, he killed Saddam, but they found no nuclear weapons of that sort, so Saddam was talking cheap 😛.

They also threw eggs at his limo on the way to inauguration forcing him to leave

I agree el canadiano

It's his fault that the world was in a recession. Preventing leverage would've solved everything in the banking fields, tighter mortgage regulations would've kept the housing market from skyrocketing (overheated badly), and GM? They deserve to die.

He was latter promoted to "shoes"

Yes everyone has faults, at least he was born in the U.S. 😛

Our nation actually prospered during the start and middle of the iraqi war, only latter when the focus was shifted over to afganistan did our market begin to dive.

This was all...6-9 years ago, how old were the majority of you during that time?

Being a military person, I can say that, war, prospers the winning nations, which is one reason why tensions are growing in the east since both the U.S. and Russia as well as the Koreas and China are wanting to boost their economic power or at least stabalize it.

I, personally, think that bringing out a war as long as possible just because "Oh Me and my dumb Daddy are war presidents, and I'll make sure we're in war for my entire term!" Not his exact words, but he promised to be a war president before the election. Yes, 9/11 was bad(i try to ignore the bad, because that's my mom's birthday) and i agree the terrorists should've been put to justice, but he could've actually done something with the war and been the hero he wanted to be, instead of dragging it out and getting america and the middle east pissed at him. He could've put troops in every sea port, airport, and land-based exit in that area, and move inwards, until all of them were persecuted.

I Blame Hitler for This. He introduced Communism(or Socialism, or Dictatorship. Don't know.) to the rest of the world. :I

GWB was one of our worst president's, besides Nixon, he spent $155 billion on that stupid-ass war, and it's gotten us nowhere. The only reason Bush was elected is because of all the recounts in Florida and stuff and they didn't want Al Gore to win. Personally, he's a pompous douchebag.

OH THE RECOUNTS. My Grandmother counted them, and there were far more votes for gore than bush. It was rigged.

Why the hell did so many re-elect him? The first was rigged but then we gave it back to him for a second term?

Because Bush is wealthy and the wealthy run this retarded ass government.

Don't forget the fact that approximately three percent of the votes in the Democratic-leaning counties in Florida are literally thrown in the garbage.

One of the best presidents of the modern era, compared to the corruption in the Clinton and Obama administration and the dumbass politics going on now, I'd be glad to have Bush back. Everybody pins the recession on him, yet if there was stricter regulation of the economy, everybody would be calling him out for having a tight least on the economy. Reagan and Bush I were better (Bush I being slightly better), but wait for the economy in another 2 years, the national debt will be insane, there will be less freedom, and more corruption.

P.S. About the video with the Patriot Act, I am/was against the bill as well (one of the few things Moore and I have in common), but how many bills do Senators actually read? I'm sure HR3590 wasn't one Senators read, at 2,000 pages. Truth is, I wouldn't be surprised if Senators only read 10% of the bills they voted on.

Clinton helped get us out of debt. Then Bush came and put us in even more debt.

Um, this isn't even worth discussing with "13-18" year olds, unless we are discussing current politicians maybe, otherwise you guys would have been... "3 - 8" years old when Bush Jr was elected, let alone Bill Clinton, in which you guys would have been "-5 - 0"

Some of you need to worry about other things.

Back when I was 13-18 I was swinging from tire swings, throwing eggs at cars, getting chased by big dogs, etc...

Its laughable...

And Obama finished the job of screwing over the economy. The national debt is far beyond even what Bush could do.

"We must spend our way out of recession"
is a direct parallel to
"We must drink our way out of alcoholism"

Logan is only 15, so I wouldn't even bother trying to educate him in politics, that is why he is still in school,

Every politician is corrupt, some more so than others, but they are all twisted puppets used by the powers that be for their own agenda.

Kirisute Gomen, You and I are on the same page. 🙂

So what your saying is we shouldn't study history because we weren't there? People know how to study and find facts. Age is just a number.

If you feel like debating, debate, but don't just say "I won't debate with you, your too young, i dont care what you say"

However most of the younger generation are either oblivious or ignorant to news, history, and politics. I can guarantee you that if I were to poll a group of high school freshmen (or even seniors), few if any of them watch the news, have a political opinion, and know history and geography. In my first year of high school we were given a blank map and told to fill in as many countries as we could. The teacher stopped me at 57, though I hadn't started on the continent of Africa or the subconitinent of Oceania yet. Most of the class had the United States and Canada filled in, and few failed to identify Mexico.

Fact is, most of the young generation is ignorant or oblivious to history, news, and politics. Once they figure out where their tax money goes, they'll probably have an opinion. 😉
